Ivana Wong composes herself with the A732’s
intuitive finger writing recognition and MP3 playback
Hong Kong – February 23, 2005 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT), a global
leader in wireless communications, today announced that Ivana Wong will serve
as the company’s product spokesperson for the A732, a sliding handset with
intuitive finger writing recognition.
Ivana Wong, one of 2005’s notable newcomers on the Hong Kong’s music scene,
will appear in the ad campaign for A732 highlighting the finger writing
recognition and MP3 playback features of the new handset.
“The Motorola A732 allows my finger to do the talking. As a singer/songwriter,
Motorola A732 helps me a lot. I can write down notes and lyrics anytime and
anywhere. Also, it’s so easy to input Chinese characters,” she said.
The smart and sleek handset also supports basic gesture commands for editing
and switching between languages. It learns each user’s writing style and
integrates that learned knowledge with a predictive engine to enhance the user
experience with accuracy and speed.
Alternatively, you can give your fingers a rest with advanced iTap features for
sending text messages or let the handset talk for you with text to speech
capabilities. Simply press the voice key and have the handset read the message
to you. With the embedded language dictionary, you can expand your vocabulary
and learn new words.
Cedric So, general manager of Mobile Devices Business, Motorola Hong Kong said,
“Motorola A732 offers a whole range of entertainment functions to enable your
lifestyle with an assortment of personalization and organizational features,
including full MP3 playback to allow you to have your favourite music whenever
you want.”
In addition to the music experience, Motorola A732 also offers two preloaded
Java games, CutePal and Happy Vale, which you can play using the phone’s unique
finger writing input method.
Motorola A732’s VGA camera with 4x zoom (at 160x120) and the handset’s large,
vivid colour screen let you capture your journeys with crystal clear precision.
The sliding design keeps the camera lens covered while not being used. With up
to 512 megabytes of optional expandable memory via a TransFlashTM/microSDTM
removable card, you can keep all the photos on file and in your pocket.
Motorola’s A732 delivers everything you need and more for seamless
communications while on-the-go. Enjoy one-touch connections via Bluetooth®
wireless technology, capture and share everyday escapades with a host of
multimedia capabilities or experience a whole new kind of communication with
the Motorola A732’s integrated language dictionary and finger writing
