Motorola Invests In Tango Networks

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – 06 February 2007 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) through Motorola Ventures, its strategic venture capital arm, today announced that it has made an equity investment in Tango Networks, Inc., a privately held supplier of hardware and software that integrates mobile phones with corporate telephone networks. Motorola Ventures’ investment was part of Tango’s Series A Financing. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Tango Networks is developing the Abrazo™, a mobility solution, which enables any mobile phone to become a PBX extension on an enterprise network. Enterprises are able to manage mobile communications through a corporate-wide mobility policy while enabling end users to effectively integrate their desk and mobile phones into one experience.

Motorola Successfully Manages Qtel’s Record Call Volume during 15th Asian Games in Doha

5.98 million calls made on Qatar Telecom (Qtel) network managed by Motorola connect successfully

DOHA, Qatar – 3 February 2007 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) announced today its successful management of Qatar Telecom’s (Qtel) network for the recently-concluded 15^th Asian Games in Qatar within the major stadia of Khalifa Olympic City, including the venues for all major events such as the handball, basketball, football finals as well as the closing ceremony.

Motorola took on the day-to-day management of network operations and support services, thereby enabling Qtel to focus on customer care, while continuing to deliver high quality of service and effectively handling peak call demands on its network. Motorola’s managed services expertise supported Qtel in managing over 5.98 million calls successfully.

“Motorola has been the leading GSM network provider for Qtel for more than 12 years, and particularly after the successful deployment of our indoor telecommunications network last year, Motorola was the logical choice to assist us in providing the highest standards of mobile services during the busy period of the Asian Games,” said Sheikh Fahad Bin Jassim Al Thani, executive director of Qtel’s wireless services.

“We expected significant peaks in demand at various points during the Games, and yet our network performance for the duration was excellent.
